Nursing Now Challenge launches Global Book Club
Nursing Now Challenge is thrilled to announce the launch of an online Global Book Club.
In the first two sessions, author Sarah DiGregio will be talking about her book Taking Care: The Story of Nursing and Its Power to Change Our World.
The book has received critical acclaim as it addresses many themes and challenges within the world of nursing, and Sarah’s angle as a non-nurse looks at it with intriguing and careful analysis. You can learn more about Sarah via here website here.
Co-hosting and asking questions of Sarah during the sessions, will be Nursing Now Challenge Board Member Professor Jill White. Jill’s distinguished career has seen her at the frontiers of major change in nursing education, policy and regulation, with her work having had a significant impact at state, national and international levels. You can read her full bio here.
Jill joins us from Sydney and Sarah from New York. During the course of the Global Book Club, we are going to represent authors/speakers from all regions and will always give time zone priority to them. Please still register your place if you can’t attend live, and we’ll send you the recording.
If you are able to attend live however, please do! We are looking forward to running an exciting Question and Answer section at the end, and your participation will be vital to that.
