Latest NNCGSI in collaboration with NewYork-Presbyterian exploring nurse retention and wellbeing
In December 2022, the Nursing Now Challenge in collaboration with NewYork-Presbyterian launched a new Nursing Now Challenge Global Solutions Initiative (NNCGSI), which explores the retention and wellbeing of nurses and midwives.
This latest NNCGSI will run until Monday 27th March, and nurses and midwives will be encouraged to develop an idea for an activity or project that focuses on matters relating to nurse retention and wellbeing.
“We’re at a crucial time to address many important issues within the nursing and midwifery community. We want to equip nurses and midwives to feel confident and empowered, with support networks in place to maintain a healthy work life balance and wellbeing.”
– Dr. MariLou Prado-Inzerillo, Vice President for Nursing Operations
The winner of this challenge will benefit from:
- A complimentary seat for a Continuing Professional Development activity offered by the Institute of Nursing Excellence and Innovation at NewYork-Presbyterian.
- 1:1 Mentorship to implement their project from a Magnet Program Director mentor at NewYork-Presbyterian.
- $500 prize money from Nursing Now Challenge to contribute towards the development of their activity.
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
