Challengers’ Committee Eastern Mediterranean Hub celebrates Nursing Now Challenge membership milestone & urges more nurses & midwives to join the network!
The members of the Challengers’ Committee Eastern Mediterranean Hub have put together a short film in which they celebrate the Nursing Now Challenge reaching a new membership milestone and urge student and early-career nurses and midwives from around the world to join our growing global network. Today there are more than 200,000 student and early-career nurses and midwives who are members of the Nursing Now Challenge.
“The reason for making this video was, we wanted to announce the new membership milestone in a collective voice, showcasing our diversity and global connection, as all members are from different countries and languages, but all share same passion for nursing and midwifery and their communities.” Sana Gul, Challengers’ Committee Co-Chair, Registered Nurse & Midwifery Student, Pakistan.
The Nursing Now Challenge, a programme of The Burdett Trust for Nursing was launched in 2021 with the aim of supporting health employers around the world to create leadership development opportunities for their student and early-career nurses and midwives. Over the last three years, this mandate has evolved and the Nursing Now Challenge has welcomed individuals, as well as organisations, becoming an invaluable space for student and early-career nurses and midwives to convene, share experiences and learn from one another. It has become a key feature and support system in the lives of thousands of student and early-career nurses and midwives globally, representing a vibrant, diverse, challenge-led community where student and early-career nurses and midwives are inspired and championed.
Huge thanks to the wonderful members of our Challengers’ Committee Eastern Mediterranean Hub for creating this video and for their ongoing commitment to the nursing and midwifery professions.
