State of the World’s Nursing Report: webinar invitation from WHO, ICN and Nursing Now

The State of the World’s Nursing Report will be launched on World Health Day (7 April) 2020 during the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife. The report will be a landmark resource for the nursing profession providing the evidence needed to make a stronger case to governments for investment in nursing.

Are you interested to learn more about the report and how you can contribute to its development and launch?

We would like to invite you to join a webinar on Tuesday 10th September with speakers from WHO, ICN and Nursing Now, as well as Jhpiego, an international non-governmental organisation, contracted by WHO to work with countries to support the data reporting process. The webinar will last one hour and will be held at 8:00 and 14:00 (London GMT+1) to allow as many of you as possible from different time-zones to participate.

Our speakers will include:

  • Baroness Mary Watkins, alternate-Chair, Nursing Now and Crossbench Member, UK House of Lords
  • Dr Barbara Stilwell, Executive Director Nursing Now
