This blog was shared by the Pokhara Nursing Campus, Nepal Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the Pokara Nursing Campus, Nepal, in collaboration with Gandaki Province Health Directorate Office has engaged its nursing students in a telenursing programme. 100 undergraduate and post-graduate nursing students were enrolled in this tele-programme which gave them the opportunity to assess isolating COVID-19 patients over the phone and provide much-needed comfort and advice. Coronavirus has led to an increase in mental health issues such as fear, anxiety, depression, and a general decrease in overall wellbeing.
